Program Overview

A good idea can arrive at any time. However, there may not always be the time to prepare a detailed business plan. Sometimes, getting started is the need of the hour. In such a case, an entrepreneur may take what is called the ‘lean path’ to begin and grow their company.

Traditional business and product development methods can be slow and resource intensive. Developing a venture from a novel idea to commercialization, ensuring a higher likelihood of success in the uncertain environment, leading the development with limited resources, and achieving momentum for growth require a new set of rules. Customer development and the lean path are some of the new methodologies that help quickly discover whether a proposed start-up idea or business model is viable, and if it is then how to make it market ready. This combination of hypothesis-driven experimentation, iterative product releases and validated learning help find the Product-Market fit and achieve the Go-To-Market Business Plan.

Course/Program Objectives

Business idea development needs a deep understanding of the stakeholders and the ecosystem of the relevant industry. It cannot happen in isolation, rather it should be an iterative process with continuous inputs from the market. This program uses important frameworks so that by the end of it, you don’t just have a path for your MVP but will also get a head-start to gain a clear understanding of the market and customers that make it a winner.
